Quick-service restaurant chain Church’s Texas Chicken named Roland Gonzalez its chief executive officer. Gonzalez previously served as Church’s chief operations officer.

Roland Gonzalez Prior to joining Church’s, Gonzalez held senior leadership roles at quick-service restaurant brands such as Burger King, Tim Hortons and Popeyes, which are all part of Restaurant Brands International.

His background also includes serving in executive and operational roles with such companies as Virtual Dining Concepts.

Gonzalez succeeds Joe Guith, who became Church’s CEO in 2022.
