Jay Johns will retire from his role as president of IHOP, effective January 6, 2025. Lawrence Kim will replace him at that time.
Kim will join IHOP’s parent company Dine Brands in October after having previously served as chief innovation officer for YUM! Brands.
Johns joined Dine Brands in 2012 and has served as IHOP president for six years. IHOP now operates more than 1,800 restaurants systemwide.
