The National Association of Collegiate and University Food Services announced the six chefs that will compete in its annual culinary competition.
The participating chefs are:
- Bouakhanh Greene of the University of Michigan
- James Jorgen of the University of Utah
- Jeffrey MacDonald of the University of Massachusetts
- Chad McDonald of the University of Houston
- Tye Nielsen of the University of California – Riverside
- Nicholas Simpson of Virginia Tech
The six participating chefs advanced to the national competition by winning regional events. They will compete in the NACUFS 2024 Culinary Challenge, which will take place on July 18 during the association’s annual conference in Louisville.
