Former Starbucks executive Rossann Williams was named chief operating officer for the fast-growing salad concept Sweetgreen. In this role, she will oversee Sweetgreen’s operations, real estate, development and supply chain.
Williams spent more than 18 years at Starbucks, where she rose to executive vice president and president of North American retail. In this role, she oversaw a market of approximately 16,000 stores, per a release. Her background also includes leadership roles for such companies as Blockbuster and Toys “R” Us.
