Fast-casual chain MOD Pizza named Beth Scott its chief executive officer. Previous CEO Scott Svenson will assume the role of executive chairperson for MOD Pizza.

In 2008 Svenson and his wife Ally, co-founded MOD Pizza. In his new role, Svenson will continue to lead the company’s board of directors.

Scott most recently served as chief restaurant officer for Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, overseeing the company’s operations and development teams. Her background also includes serving as president of Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, which is owned by Bloomin’ Brands; as a vice president at Hilton Hotels and as global vice president for Disney Parks & Resorts, where she led food and beverage experience planning and integration.
