Huddle House Parent adds VP of Menu Innovation

Ascent Hospitality Management tapped Mindy Armstrong to serve as vice president of menu innovation for the parent company of Huddle House and Perkins Restaurant & Bakery.

Mindy ArmstrongMindy ArmstrongPrior to joining Ascent Hospitality Management, Armstrong served as senior director of brand Innovation for Inspire Brands, where she led the development of innovation strategy and commercialization of new products for Buffalo Wild Wings, per a release. Armstrong’s background also includes serving as managing director, insights and innovation for FoodIQ, a culinary innovation agency specializing in designing and integrating “innovation processes to drive product ideation, development, and commercialization for clients.” In this role, her client base included Coca-Cola, Foster Farms, Bush Beans, Checkers & Rally’s Drive-In Restaurants, plus various foodservice manufacturers, multi-unit restaurant chains and agencies.
