TGI Fridays introduced Weldon Spangler as CEO for the casual dining chain. He succeeds Brandon Coleman, who has resigned for personal reasons, per a company release.

Weldon SpanglerA longtime member of TGI Fridays board of directors, Spangler’s restaurant industry experience spans more than three decades. His background includes working with such restaurant chains as Subway, Papa Murphy’s, Dunkin’ Brands, and Starbucks.

There are currently 700 TGI Fridays restaurants in 51 countries.
