Eduardo Luz was named CEO and president of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.

Most recently he served as chief brand and concept officer for Panera Bread. His background also includes various roles at The Kraft Heinz Company.

In a statement announcing the appointment, Luz said, "P.F. Chang’s has tremendous omni-channel opportunity, both domestically and abroad.”

The company had been searching for a successor to the role since former CEO Damola Adamolekun stepped down as CEO this summer and returned to Paulson & Co., co-owner of P.F. Chang’s. Rohit Manocha has served as interim CEO since then; he is the co-founder of TriArtisan Capital Advisors, and co-owner of P.F. Chang’s.
