Alto-Shaam named Steve Maahs its new CEO and announced former CEO Karen Hansen will now serve as chairman of the board.

Steve MaahsSteve Maahs was formerly president and chief operating officer for the Wisconsin-based foodservice equipment manufacturer. The company was founded by his father, Jerry Maahs. “With these strategic transitions, Alto-Shaam is building a successful private, multigenerational, family company that will create long-term success and opportunity for our customers, employees and partners as we take on what’s next,” Steve Maahs said in a release announcing the transitions.

Lucy McQuillanA series of other executive-level moves were also announced. Lucy McQuillan, formerly chief commercial officer, now serves as president of Alto-Shaam; Dan Schaus, formerly vice president of finance, was promoted to chief financial officer; and JK Raghavan was named senior vice president of global supply chain and international manufacturing operations.

Alto-Shaam restructured its commercial team a little over a year ago when it combined its production management and culinary teams into one unit.
