Rep Roundup for April 11, 2023

Berner International recognizes several of its rep groups, while Insinger, Meiko and RSG update their networks. Zink also added a new leader to its hospitality business unit.

Berner International honored foodservice manufacturer's representative Swanson-Girard Associates, Pineville, N.C, with its Presidential Gold Award for Outstanding Sales Achievement—2021-2022. Berner presented its Presidential Silver award to Preferred Marketing Group, Chatsworth, Calif., and its Presidential Bronze Award to  LMS Associates, Arlington, Texas.

Insinger Machine Company added Dedicated Foodservice Solutions, Excelsior Marketing and Midwest Professional Reps to its network of independent manufacturers reps. DFS will represent Insinger within southern California and Nevada, while Excelsior and Midwest Pro will oversee the New York metropolitan and Midwestern U.S. territories, respectively.

Refrigerated Solutions Group added Fischer Group to its rep network. Fischer Group now represents RSG lines Master-Bilt and Norlake in California and Nevada. Fischer Group, a previous RSG representative, recently merged with Northern California/Northern Nevada RSG representative Eagle/Frizzell to cover all of California and Nevada, per a release announcing these updates.

PB&J Commercial Agents added Meiko to its line card. The Illinois-based firm now represents Meiko in the Wisconsin and Illinois market. PB&J had previously represented Meiko, with that arrangement ending in 2018.

Zink Hospitality hired Brian Tarpy to serve as a vice president/general manager for the Columbus, Ohio-based rep firm. Tarpy’s background includes most recently serving as vice president of sales for Charter Furniture and as regional sales director at Shelby Williams.
