Don Fox is retiring from his role as president of Firehouse Subs, a restaurant chain owned by Restaurant Brands International. Mike Hancock will replace Fox as president of Firehouse Subs, U.S. and Canada.
Hancock has been with RBI for 10 years, most recently serving as COO for Firehouse Subs, which RBI acquired in 2021. His background also includes serving as COO for Tim Horton’s as well as leadership roles for Burger King in Europe and the U.S. Some project this change will also trigger an aggressive growth plan for Firehouse Subs.
Fox will become chairman of Firehouse Subs and remain involved with the chain’s Public Safety Foundation. Overall, Fox’s career in the restaurant industry spans more than 40 years.
