Wallace Streich, founder of Wisconsin-based foodservice equipment dealer Streich Equipment Co., died on January 31, 2023. He was 97 years old.

In 1969, Wallace Streich and his wife Jane opened the Streich Equipment Co. in Wassau, Wis., per the company website. The dealership remains in business today with the couple’s sons Steve Streich and Jon Streich serving as president and vice president/treasurer.

Wallace Streich is survived by his five children Patti Filak, Scott, Jon, Steve and Lori; as well as seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
