Multiline foodservice equipment manufacturer Middleby Corp. has added to its coffee and beverage offerings through its acquisition of Marco Beverage Systems. The Dublin, Ireland-based company also manufactures hot water dispensers and has annual revenue of $30 million, per a Middleby release.
“This acquisition is highly complementary to our growing beverage portfolio, and the Marco product line further expands our offerings in coffee brewers, cold brew dispense, and a variety of hot, cold and sparkling water dispensers,” says Tim FitzGerald, Middleby CEO. “Touchless and in-counter dispense technology is rapidly gaining popularity due to space and labor advantages, along with enhanced aesthetic features.”
Other Middleby coffee-related lines include Bloomfield, Concordia and JoeTap.
Marco Beverage Systems’ management team is expected to remain with the company. This includes Paul Stack, who will continue to serve as managing director of Marco Beverage Systems with the support of the existing management team.
