Diversified Foodservice Supply LLC, updated its organizational structure. This initiative includes developing the newly created role of president and chief operating officer and updating several other positions.
Dale Barina now serves as president and chief operating officer. Barina assumes commercial responsibility across all of DFS’ customer segments and continued responsibility for the supply chain. He joined DFS in 2020 as chief supply chain officer.
Keith Kelly now serves as chief development officer M&A. Kelly “will lead the company's acquisition pipeline development and lead industry relations and enterprise-level customer and supplier engagement.” Kelly’s background includes serving as president for both TundraFMP and Ice-O-Matic.
Andrew Klein now serves as senior vice president of digital commerce. In this role, Klein will “lead all digital enablement and digital commerce initiatives at the company.” He previously led category management, pricing and product information within DFS. Klein’s background also includes working with such companies as McMaster-Carr and Grainger.
Lucas Rogers now serves as vice president of category management and procurement. Rogers will oversee the expansion of the privately branded parts and supplies, per a company release. Rogers’ background includes purchasing and category management experience from his various roles at American Hotel Register.
Jeff King continues to serve as CEO of DFS. In addition, DFS will continue to service customers from its locations in Mt. Prospect, Ill.; Lumberton, N.J.; Boulder, Colo.; Atlanta and Houston.
In 2020, DFS realigned its structure to form two distinctive business units.
