Velvet Taco tapped Michael Pereira to fill the newly created position of chief operating officer.
Pereira previously served in senior operational leadership roles at Snooze an A.M. Eatery, Grand Lux Café, The Cheesecake Factory and Metromedia Restaurant Group. In this role he will oversee ongoing business operations on a day-to-day basis.
Velvet Taco added this position to support its growth plans for the coming year, which include two new restaurants coming to South Florida in 2023, per a company release. Velvet Taco has more than 35 locations throughout the United States.
