Frisch’s Big Boy tapped James Walker to serve as CEO for the casual dining chain. Walker comes to Frisch’s Big Boy from Nathan’s Famous where he also served in an executive role.

Walker’s restaurant industry background also includes leadership roles with such chains as Baja Fresh, Cinnabon and Subway.

“Fewer and fewer restaurant brands today have the kind of legacy that Frisch’s Big Boy has. The people of Cincinnati and surrounding areas have an emotional connection with this brand,” says Walker in a release announcing his hiring. “As the brand celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, I couldn’t be more excited about joining an incredible team that understands that connection. My role is to guide us in leveraging our brand equity.”
