Joe Gillie was appointed vice president of operations for Famous Toastery, a 25-plus unit better breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant chain.

Most recently, Gillie worked as chief financial officer for Charleston Hospitality Group, which includes such chains as Toast All Day. Prior to that, Gillie worked with a number of legacy QSR brands, including Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Gillie also has experience on the franchisee level as the chief operating officer for a restaurant group that owned 18 Popeyes franchise locations in Baton Rouge, La.

Famous Toastery has set a goal to grow to 50 units by 2024, per a company release.
