Five foodservice equipment manufacturers were among the more than 200 organizations and businesses honored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with its 2022 Energy Star Awards.

These awards recognize “businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency achievements.”

Hoshizaki America (8 consecutive years), ITW Food Equipment Group (13 years) and Welbilt (11 years) each earned Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence recognition from the EPA. The EPA presents the Sustained Excellence Award to partners who have already received Energy Star Partner of the Year recognition for a minimum of two consecutive years and have gone above and beyond the criteria needed to qualify for recognition.

Energy Star also presented True Manufacturing with a Partner of the Year Award and Beverage-Air with an Excellence in Product Design Award.
