Scott Lewis was named to the newly created role of vice president of operations for Redberry Burger King, a Canadian franchisee of the quick-service burger chain.
Redberry plans to open 22 Burger King locations this year, bringing its unit total to 146 for the company, per a company release. Redberry is also a franchisee of such restaurant chains as Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.
Lewis’ restaurant industry background spans roughly three decades, working with franchisees and other restaurant companies. He has experience working with such brands as KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut in Western Canada, among other chains. Most recently, Lewis served as the vice president of operations for Flanagan Foodservice, where he oversaw the operations of various departments including warehouse, transportation, maintenance, health and safety, and quality assurance.
