Métal Duquet, a Quebec-based manufacturer of integrated stainless-steel systems and equipment for the foodservice industry, will be acquiring a majority stake in Atelier du Chef, another Canadian manufacturer.

This transaction will bring together 100 employees currently deployed across several locations: Métal Duquet’s manufacturing plant in Saint-Côme-Linière and its distribution center, and Atelier du Chef’s three strategic branches located in Saguenay, Quebec City and Boucherville. Atelier Du Chef will maintain its operations under its brand. The company will generate annual sales of approximately $40 million, per a release announcing the deal.
