Culinary Depot has promoted Israel Wolner to the newly created role of national director of contract sales for the New York-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer.
Wolner joined Culinary Depot six years ago as vice president of contract sales after having spent more than 11 years as a contract team leader with another foodservice equipment and supplies dealer.
In his new role, Culinary Depot has charged Wolner with strategically growing the contract component of the company’s business and managing the contract sales team. The dealer hopes to grow its contract team across its various locations which include a Las Vegas office that serves Nevada, California and Arizona; Monsey, N.Y.; New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Maryland; Lakewood, N.J.; Miami; and Colombia, S.C.
Culinary Depot reported annual revenues of $74 million for 2020, making it the 27th largest foodservice equipment and supplies dealer in the country, per FE&S 2021 Distribution Giants study.
