In a move that aims to support the concept’s rapid growth plans, Famous Toastery introduced Michael Mabry as president of the 26-unit breakfast, brunch and lunch chain.
Mabry’s experience in the restaurant industry spans more than 30 years. Over the past 20 years, he has served in such roles as president and chief operating officer of MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, executive chef and director of franchise operations at Macaroni Grill and chief development officer of Fuzzy’s Taco Shop.
Famous Toastery’s development plans call for the chain to “saturate” the Carolinas, Virginia and Tennessee. The chainset a goal of selling 8 to 10 franchise deals, possibly opening 4 to 6 restaurants next year Famous Toastery’s long-term goal is to have 50 locations open by 2024.
