Hoshizaki Corporation appointed Chris Karssiens to the new role of president of the Americas region. He will serve in this role concurrently with his current position as president of Hoshizaki America. Other equipment lines that are part of Hoshizaki’s Americas region include Lancer Worldwide, Jackson WWS and ACOS Marcom.

Karssiens joined Hoshizaki America at the beginning of 2020 as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Earlier this year Karssiens was appointed president of Hoshizaki America. Over the course of his career, Karssiens has held leadership roles in several foodservice organizations including Scotsman Industries, Enodis, Welbilt, Standex, and Middleby. He also spent seven years managing both Enodis and Welbilt APAC (Asia-Pacific).

The leadership of the Hoshizaki America team includes Matthew Whitener, who was appointed president of Lancer Worldwide in October; Carlos Storniolo, president of AÇOS Macom and Jonathan Akin, president of Jackson WWS.
