Commercial cooking equipment manufacturer Vulcan plans to open a facility dedicated to training, research, support and other activities. The first phase of the facility is set to open in 2022.
The Vulcan Center of Excellence will also host end-user testing as well as other culinary experiences. This initiative complements Vulcan facilities in Charlotte, N.C., Louisville and Troy, Ohio, per a company release.
Vulcan plans to build support teams at the center to include culinary, technical, sales and marketing personnel and will invest in upgrading its Baltimore facility, engineering lab and test kitchen to support these efforts.
