October Rep Round Up

Two longtime associates acquire Preferred Source. 4-Star Reps adds to its culinary acumen while Greenwald and Mirk add to their line cards.

Pennsylvania-based 4 Star Reps hired Chef Greg Stephenson to serve as culinary director. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., Stephenson has worked as an executive chef and a general manager of dining in the senior living and fine dining market segments.

Greenwald Sales and Marketing, an Ohio-based rep firm, added tabletop manufacturer FOH to its line card.

Mirk Group, an Illinois-based rep group, added LTI to its line card. LTI manufactures mechanical serving technologies.

Longtime associates Jacquelyn Mangione and Danny Monnat have acquired Texas-based Preferred Source from partners Ken Bigger and Mark Sass. Preferred Source’s history spans more than three decades in the Texas and Oklahoma markets. The company maintains showrooms in the Texas cities of Dallas, Houston and Austin. “We are committed to building on the strong foundation we have laid and look forward to upholding the reputation of excellence Preferred Source has always been known for,” Mangione says. Adds Monnat, “Jacquelyn and I are looking forward to building on the principles of what has made our business thrive for over three decades with an eye to the future and the evolving needs of our customers, employees, and manufacturers.” While more personnel news is expected, Bigger and Sass are expected to remain with the company through the first quarter of 2022.
