Middleby Companies Invest in Infrastructure

Middleby Companies Pitco and QualServ are poised to make investments in their infrastructure.

Pitco will move forward with its plans to construct a 356,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Concord, N.H. The 103-year-old maker of commercial fryers moved to Bow, N.H., in 1950 and has additional facilities in Concord and Pembroke. The new Concord plant will consolidate all three locations into a single, efficient layout incorporating office, manufacturing, and warehouse space. The company expects construction to start in 2022.

QualServ has acquired an additional 272,000 square feet of warehouse space in Ft. Smith, Ark. The building, which once served as a Whirlpool distribution center, sits only a mile away from QualServ’s headquarters.

The additional space will help QualServ consolidate warehouse locations, expand shipping and receiving capabilities and free up space at the plant for production, per the company. The company added eight more loading docks to the new facility and plans to build new offices for the shipping team which will eventually relocate to this site.
