Consolidation continued in the foodservice industry with Arizona Restaurant Supply’s acquisition of United Restaurant Supply.
Based in Colorado Springs, Colo., United Restaurant Supply reported annual sales of $11.54 million in 2020, making it the 88th largest foodservice equipment and supplies dealer in the country, per FE&S 2021 Distribution Giants Study. FE&S estimated Arizona Restaurant Supply’s 2020 revenues at $56.7 million, making it the 30th largest dealer in the country.
Despite the change in ownership, United Restaurant Supply’s day-to-day operations will remain under the purview of vice president Nate Brewster, per a release announcing the transaction.
“As demand for our products and services continue to rise, United expands our geographic footprint and broadens our offerings,” says Ryan Carr, president of Arizona Restaurant Supply.
This is the second acquisition among foodservice equipment-related companies in less than a week. On Sept. 24, Middleby announced its acquisition of Imperial Commercial Cooking Equipment.
