Wingstop promoted Michael Skipworth to president and chief operating officer for the chicken wing-centric restaurant chain. He replaces Mahesh Sadarangani, who resigned after being recruited to become CEO of a private equity-backed company, per a release announcing the transition.
Skipworth joined Wingstop in December 2014 and most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer. As a result of Skipworth’s promotion, Wingstop elevated Alex Kaleida to fill the CFO role.
Kaleida joined Wingstop in 2019 as vice president, financial planning, and analysis. His background includes leadership roles at Wendy's and Kraft Heinz Company.
