The National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) presented its 2020 Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards to member institutions across six different categories.
The winners for the 2020 Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards are:
Residential Dining Concepts
- Gold: Hope College, Rider University and University of Ottawa
- Silver: University of North Texas
Residential Dining Facility
- Gold: Hendrix College and Michigan State University
- Silver: North Dakota State University and Rollins College
- Bronze: Savannah College of Art & Design and University of Arizona
Residential Dining – Special Event
- Gold: Hendrix College, SUNY Cortland and Virginia Tech
- Silver: University at Buffalo, University of Colorado Colorado Springs and University of Richmond
Bronze: Dartmouth College, Kennesaw State University, Michigan State University and The College of New Jersey
Retail Sales – Single Concept/Multiple Concepts/Marketplace
- Gold: SUNY Brockport, United States Naval Academy and Washington University in St. Louis
- Silver: Dartmouth College and University of California, Riverside
- Bronze: New Mexico State University, SUNY Cortland and University of Arkansas
Catering – Special Event
- Gold: Boston College, Hendrix College and Salisbury University
- Silver: McMaster University, Oklahoma State University and Virginia Tech
- Bronze: University of California, Riverside and University of North Texas

NACUFS will announce grand prize winners at a later date.
The awards, named after a NACUFS founder and past president, celebrate members for their innovative ideas and implementation of programs. A team of six judges and a committee chair safely gathered in East Lansing in June 2021 to examine each entry and selected top candidates in each category.
