The National Restaurant Association added Brennan Duckett to its public affairs team as technology and innovation policy director. In this role, he will handle policy issues related to electronic payments systems, data security and privacy, gift and prepaid cards, intellectual property and trademark issues, music licensing, and ADA reform.
Prior to working for the NRA, Duckett was director of government affairs at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) where he led federal and state advocacy efforts on data privacy. During his seven-year tenure, he also facilitated the growth of the 21st Century retail workforce by connecting member companies to new generations of talent and tech startups to shape the future of the industry.
