Mulitiline foodservice equipment manufacturer Ali Group has acquired KOLD-DRAFT from The Legacy Companies. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

KOLD-DRAFT manufactures ice machines that make square cubes utilizing the company’s “upside-down” horizontal evaporator ice-making system. KOLD-DRAFT machines produce pure, solid, sparkling ice that cools faster.

“This latest acquisition provides us with one of the industry’s most unique and well-known ice shapes and further enhances our portfolio in the ice machine segment,” says Filippo Berti, Ali Group’s chairman and CEO. 

The Ali Group has more than 80 foodservice equipment brands in its global portfolio.
