Former McDonald’s veteran Gwen Bialas will join Middleby as general manager of its Carter-Hoffman, Doyon and NU-VU equipment lines effective Feb. 1.
Bialas comes to Middleby from Marmon Group, where she helped establish and lead new business units for the Chicago-based company and served as president of its Minnesota-based refrigeration brand.
In her new role at Middleby, Bialas will assume responsibility for new product development and overseeing day-to-day accounting, sales and marketing, engineering and operations for each of these lines. She will also evaluate operations to best leverage current operational synergies and refine existing processes for greater efficiencies, per a company release.
