As part of a partnership between the two Middleby-owned equipment lines, Globe Food Equipment Co. will handle the sales, marketing and distribution of Varimixer products in the U.S. This goes into effect Jan. 1, 2021.

As a result, Globe will house and ship Varimixer products from its Dayton, Ohio, location. Varimixer will use Globe’s infrastructure, including its shipping capabilities and more. Also, because this is a partnership, Varimixer, which is headquartered in Denmark, and Globe will work together on an international basis.

Two leading brands with the same go-to-market organization positions both to grow market share,” says Kevin Woods, Globe’s president.

Middleby acquired Varimixer in June 2017 and in October of that year the multiline foodservice equipment manufacturer acquired Globe. Both Globe and Varimixer manufacture mixers. Globe also manufactures other equipment items, including slicers, scales, various forms of cooking equipment and other types of prep equipment.
