Multiline foodservice equipment manufacturer Middleby Corporation has acquired Globe Food Equipment Company. Based in Dayton, Ohio, Globe manufacturers slicers and mixers and has approximately $50 million in annual sales, per a release announcing the transaction.
“The addition of the Globe product offering enhances Middleby’s position for further expansion into the growing retail market segment,” said Selim Bassoul, chairman and CEO of The Middleby Corporation.
This is Middleby’s second acquisition in recent weeks. Early last month Middleby bought QualServ.
