Foodservice Equipment & Supplies named YNOT Italian the winner of the 2020 Kitchen Storage Makeover contest. The family-owned casual dining chain operates six stores in the Virginia Beach, Virg., area.
Tony Disilvestro, co-owner of YNOT Italian with his wife Cyndi, have operated the chain since 1993 and plan to franchise. The chain has focused on giving back to the communities it serves during this pandemic period, donating pizzas and slices to hospital staff, firefighters, a homeless shelter and more. “We call it the COVID Love Drive,” says Cyndi Disilvestro.
As the winner of FE&S contest, the kitchen storage areas at one YNot Italian location will receive a makeover that FE&S will profile in an upcomingissue. Both owners look forward to the makeover process. “We are looking forward to getting our store organized,” says Tony Disilvestro.
The Kitchen Storage Makeover winner was selected by a panel of judges including Jonathan Nikiel, Reitano Design Group; Peg Gailie, S20 Consultants Inc.; and Armand Iaia, FSCI, Cini-Little.
