Multiconcept operator FOCUS Brands appointed company veteran Tim Muir to the newly created role of chief sales officer. To replace Muir as chief development officer, FOCUS Brands hired Brian Krause.
Muir, who joined FOCUS Brands in 2017 as the company’s first-ever chief development officer, will focus on franchise sales and revenue growth. Krause assumes responsibility for driving strategic growth for FOCUS’ domestic portfolio and leading cross-functional collaboration across internal departments, franchisees, and brands.
Krause comes to FOCUS Brands from Inspire Brands, where he most recently served as chief development officer for the company’s Jimmy John's chain. Prior to Jimmy John's he served as senior vice president, franchise development for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
Atlanta-based FOCUS Brands’ portfolio of restaurant chains includes Auntie Anne’s, Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba, Moe’s Southwest Grill, McAlister's Deli, and Schlotzsky’s.
