Dennis Appel was appointed president of Franke Foodservice Systems’ Americas business unit.
Dennis AppelIn his new role Appel will work to expand the reach of Franke's facility-related equipment, supplies and service portfolio into the quick-service restaurant and convenience store segments. He will directly oversee the firm’s operations as a manufacturer, distributor and program management partner to some of the world’s largest chains.
Most recently, Appel served as vice president – commercial and industrial solutions for Modine Manufacturing, a Racine, Wis.-based provider of heat transfer technologies. His background also includes serving as president of Luvata, a London-based metals and manufacturing group.
