In a deal valued at $10 million, the parent company to Fatburger has acquired Elevation Burger.
Elevation Burger was conceived in 2002 by Hans Hess as a healthier burger offering. The concept franchises 44 locations across the U.S. and internationally. By acquiring Elevation Burger, FAT Brands' intends to leverage its expertise and resources to accelerate the concept growth both internationally and domestically.
As a result of this deal, FAT Brands now franchises more than 400 restaurants around the world with annual system-wide sales exceeding $400 million, per a release announcing the deal.
