Rich PackerRich Packer has been named president of American Metalcraft, a Franklin Park, Ill.-based company that manufactures and imports restaurant supplies. Packer succeeds David Kahn and is the first non-family member to hold the office of president for this third-generation family business, per a release announcing the promotion.

Packer joined American Metalcraft in 1994 as national sales manager and has held a variety of positions within the company, most recently serving as chief operating officer. He also serves as secretary/treasurer for the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers.
