The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recognized a series of foodservice equipment manufacturers with its 2017 Energy Star Partner of the Year Award. Each of these companies earned recognition for their commitment to saving energy and protecting the environment through energy efficiency achievements.

The foodservice equipment manufacturers named Energy Star Partner of the Year are Hoshizaki America, ITW Food Equipment Group and Welbilt.

Each of these companies earned recognition in the Partner of the Year — Sustained Excellence category. According to Energy Star, The Sustained Excellence Award recognizes “a diverse set of organizations that have demonstrated continued leadership in energy efficiency.”

Overall, Energy Star recognized 152 organizations for their energy-efficiency related accomplishments.
