Educational Institute arm of AHLA to run as separate business under NRA's Training & Certification Division.

The National Restaurant Association will acquire the full portfolio of training products and related assets, including a building in Lansing, Mich., from the American Hotel & Lodging Association Educational Institute, currently owned by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA). The transaction should be complete by the end of 2017.

AHLA will retain its certification business. The NRA will take on day-to-day responsibility for the training program business.
