Manitowoc Foodservice announced that Gary Dykstra, vice president sales buying groups, will retire from his role of leading the company’s business with the USA Buying Groups at the end of this year. He will continue to serve as a consultant to the business. Manitowoc appointed Chris Karssiens to serve as senior vice present sales for USA Buying Groups and will replace Dykstra in this role.
Manitowoc Foodservice also named company veteran Phil Dei Dolori as its senior vice president and general manager EMEA and APAC.
Karssiens has been with Manitowoc Foodservice for 18 years and held multiple leadership roles. He most recently served as senior vice president of APAC, based in Singapore. In his new role he will be responsible for Manitowoc Foodservice’s work with dealer buying groups, foodservice consultants, and government markets (GSA).
Dei Dolori will assume responsibility for the APAC region in addition to his current EMEA responsibility as SVP and General Manager EMEA and APAC. Dei Dolori has been with Manitowoc Foodservice for nine years and has held different commercial and product leadership positions. He and his regional teams will focus on growing the company’s relationships with current segments and creating new strategies to maximize sales of Manitowoc Foodservice’s product and systems offering in these regions.
Dykstra has been with Manitowoc Foodservice since 1986. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership positions across multiple product portfolios including Garland, Cleveland, Frymaster and most recently he was responsible for the multi-line foodservice equipment manufacturer’s USA buying group business.
