Former KFC president Cywinski to assume executive position with the multi-concept operator.
Brinker International, Inc. named John Cywinski its new executive vice president of strategic innovation, effective March 7, 2016. In his new role, Cywinski will lead the strategic thinking and innovation around aligning all guest touch points, according to a company release.
Most recently, Cywinski served as president of KFC U.S. His background includes serving in multiple leadership positions at Yum! Brands, Inc., Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar, McDonald's Corporation, Burger King and The Walt Disney Company. Cywinski also owned and operated restaurants as a franchisee for Dunkin Brands and SONIC.
