Former PrimeSource executive returns to the foodservice equipment and supplies community.
Darren Anderson has joined Lone Star Restaurant Supply as president and chief operating officer. Steve Schaefer, previously vice president and general manager for the Austin, Texas-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership, becomes executive vice president of operations.
Anderson will oversee Lone Star’s strategic direction and positioning. In his new role, Schaefer will oversee the daily operations of the company.
Anderson is a name that may ring familiar to many in the foodservice equipment and supplies community. In April of 2012 he was president and COO for PrimeSource FoodService Equipment, Inc., when its equity partners sold the majority of the Dallas-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership’s assets to Unified Food Purchasing Co-op and their strategic partners.
