New England Chapters of FCSI and MAFSI Raise Money for Wounded Warrior Project

Foodservice industry associations team together in 42nd annual event to support area charities.

Earlier this month The New England Chapters of Foodservice Consultants Society International – The Americas Division (FSCI) and the Manufacturers Agents for Foodservice Industry (MAFSI) held a joint golf outing that raised money for charity.

The 42nd such charitable event hosted by FCSI and MAFSI members raised $20,900 for the Wounded Warrior Project, which will support the programs and services offered for this generation of injured veterans and their families.

A total of 128 participants, including 84 tee sign sponsors, participated in the event at the Andover Country Club in Andover, Mass.

"We are just grateful to be in a position to give back to those that gave so freely to us", said the event's chief organizer, Jim Whiffen, FCSI Golf Committee member and president of Fountainhead Foodservice Group in Burlington, Ma.
