Robert Cantor, the chairman of Insinger Corp., has passed away.
Robert Cantor was the fourth generation of the family to hold an executive leadership position at Insinger and did so for nearly four decades. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, his daughter, Rebecca, his son, Ari (president and fifth generation owner), and his two grandchildren, Jake and Zeke.
Robert Cantor “will be remembered for his smile, his generosity, his commitment, his foresight, his salesmanship, his dapper appearance, his engagement, his wit, his charming demeanor, his creativity, his passion, his energy, his warmth, and his formality,” said Ari Cantor in an email to FE&S. “He will also be remembered for challenging misnomers. Mr. Cantor advocated for all. He hired all. And most importantly, Mr. Cantor believed in equal opportunity for everyone and accommodations for anyone.”
Donations can be made in Robert Cantor’s memory to The Parkinson's Foundation or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
