The Brothers Kang Group opened the first New York City location of Segafredo Zanetti (650 locations worldwide) in Greenwich Village, Manhattan.
Segafredo NYC offers Italian espresso drinks, including signatures like marocchino (espresso over chocolate with foamed milk and cocoa) and goloso (espresso with chocolate sauce, foamed milk and whipped cream), along with a range of specialty cocktails and small Italian café-influenced bites like burrata caprese and bruschetta. Architect and designer Antonio Di Oronzo, founder of Bluarch Architecture + Interiors + Lighting, a New York-based architecture and design firm, designed the 2,500-square-foot space to capture the feel of a European café and lounge. The café will stay open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m.
