Popeyes Names New Global Brand Officer 
Popeyes appointed Richard Lynch its new chief global brand officer. Lynch, who joined Popeyes in 2008, previously served as the quick service chain’s chief marketing officer.
Subway Appoints Pair to Director Positions
Subway named Joe Chaves director of operations and Rebecca Audet director of worldwide training. Chaves, a five-year Subway veteran, has 28 years experience in the QSR industry, including time as a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins franchisee.
Fertitta Stakes a Claim for Morton’s Restaurant Group at $6.90 Per Share
Through his wholly-owned company Fertitta’s Morton’s Restaurants, Tilman J. Fertitta has signed an agreement to acquire Morton’s Restaurant Group, Inc. for $6.90 a share.
