NRA Changes 2012 Show Dates
The National Restaurant Association has changed the dates for its 2012 tradeshow to May 5-8 from May 19-22. The show will take place in Chicago's McCormick Place, as previously planned.

Approximately four years after acquiring the fried chicken concept, Falfurrias Capital Partners, a Charlotte-based private equity firm, has sold Bojangles' Restaurants Inc. to Advent International, a global private equity firm based in Boston.

Taft to become CEO for Fiesta Restaurant Group
Timothy Taft was named chief executive officer for Fiesta Restaurant Group, an indirect and wholly owned subsidiary of Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc., effective August 15. Fiesta Restaurant Group operates a pair of chains: Taco Cabana and Pollo Tropical.
NACUFS Executive Director Spina Announces Retirement
Joseph Spina, PhD, CAE, announced his plans to retire from his post as executive director for the National Association of College and University Foodservice at the end of 2012. Spina, who has held the position since 1990, is only the second executive director in NACUFS history.
