Infrico Adds a National Sales Director
Michael Nadal has joined Infrico USA as the National Sales Director. Nadal comes to Infrico from TriMark Strategic, a foodservice equipment and supplies dealer.
Rongo Joins S2O
Foodservice industry veteran Ryan Rongo has joined S2O Consultants, an Illinois-based foodservice design firm. He will serve as a project manager for S2O.
Adams-Burch Bought by TriMark USA
TriMark USA, a South Attleboro, Mass.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership, has acquired Adams-Burch, a foodservice equipment and supplies dealer headquartered in Landover, Md. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bettcher Opens Innovation Center
Foodservice equipment manufacturer Bettcher Industries, Inc. opened an innovation center at its headquarters in Birmingham, Ohio. The Bettcher Innovation Center (BIC) is a multi-use facility that enables conceptual testing, demonstrations and collaboration among employees as well as with Bettcher’s customers and business partners.
Restaurant Industry Performance Index Climbs to 101.6
The National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant Performance Index stood at 101.6 in April, up 0.9 percent from March. The National Restaurant Association attributes the moderate gain to stronger same-store sales and customer traffic levels. Any reading that exceeds 100 indicates expansion among the index of restaurant industry-related performance indicators.
Chris Sperry Joins Heritage Parts as SVP of Operations
Heritage Parts hired Chris Sperry to serve as senior vice president of operations. Sperry will oversee Heritage’s supply-chain and logistical operations.
B&B Franchise Group Announces Equity Partnership to Expand Burger & Beer Joint Restaurant Concept
Private equity firm Larsen MacColl Partners and chief executive Bill Herman made an investment in B&B Franchise Group, developer and franchisor of Burger & Beer Joint restaurants. The company will use the funding to drive domestic and international expansion of its Burger & Beer Joint restaurants.
NRAEF Names New VP of Development
The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) tapped Michelle McCarthy to serve as its vice president of development.
